A Pastoral Blessing and Benediction

As you depart now, and all through the week,
May the God of Creation
            Remind you that you were born in the image of God,
            For fellowship and for joy; and
May the God of your Redemption
            Remind you that your salvation is a gift,
            A free gift, of God’s utterly “amazing grace”; and
May the Spirit of God
            Remind you that you are bonded with God
            In a relationship which  can never, ever be broken,
So, go now; go in peace; go with God, and
BRAVE JOURNEY!
