Yearning for Hope<\/strong>

Today’s news beyond our scope:
\nViolence, wars, refugees fleeing.
\nOne may wonder, where is hope?
\nLook deep into faith foreseeing.<\/p>\n

“Hope springs eternal in the human breast,”
\nThe words of Alexander Pope.
\nSooth the soul sorely depressed,
\nKnowing, “where there’s life there’s hope.”<\/p>\n

 When life’s dark the Poet* opines,
\n“When it’s dark enough you can see the stars.”
\nLook well upward for heavenly signs,
\nAnd cling to the faith that is ours.<\/p>\n
